Boyang Yu (he/him)

Boyang Yu (b.1992, Beijing, China) is a Chinese interdisciplinary artist based in New York whose work crosses over the realm of nature, human invention, and human intervention. Assembling from sculptures, drawings and paper based works, his work often stems from daily observations and field trips. He is exploring a visual language of organic structures and engineered forms within a natural, social and political landscape. His work exposes the tenderness between nature and culture, preservation and conservation, fact and fiction.
