Gregory McLellan (he/him)

Gregory McLellan has been living a nonstop performance art project as his alter ego Tingleguts since 1972. The two stopped communicating for a long period starting  shortly after Tingleguts was inadvertently conjoined to the LANDSAT-1 satellite and the rocket that forced it overhead, into orbit, and on into its mission of hypnotically staring at the earth in late July that year.

Most of what is satirically addressed by Tingleguts relates to the pitfalls of dealing with abusive mind-control regimes. McLellan’s latest project as Tingleguts involves a technology startup aimed at using music and a new collaborative platform to facilitate planet-changing community-building, healing, and socially aware activism, and as a non-profit that generates culture by way of dance music.
